Annabelle works predominantly in oil painting, printmaking, drawing and instillation. She works within the sphere of abstraction with forms that are strangely familiar yet unfamiliar simultaneously; using different materials, surfaces and methods of display she endeavours to bring you into her world and sharpen your sense of the present world you are in.

Annabelle has curated collaborative international exhibitions in Africa and the UK. Her work has been exhibited in America, Africa, Europe and the UK.

I am passionate about art and how we all understand and engage with the world, with each other and how we communicate that visually. I am also passionate about community and how thinking, making and discussing visually together can generate a deeper sense of self, of the world around us and the people we live alongside. For that reason my studio is at The Art Room -which is open to the community.’
